The-Hailey-Algorithm

The research lab of the university was essentially a rather large computer room. Three rows of tables with laptops and chairs set up on either side of the tables. Three dry erase boards were set up on three of the walls. A notice board was posted outside the lab’s door and another one just inside the door above the light switch. The room was dimly lit and looked like a nerd’s cave during the butt-crack O’clock hours of one am. A table off to one side of the room had a printer and scanner and a photocopier just sat in the corner just opposite it.

Hailey’s desk was near the back, kitty-cornered away from everything on the left hand side. Her desk was genuinely always organized. She had her own laptop set up and the only other things that occupied her desk were a pencil holder (which had various writing implements sitting in it:pencils, pens, a sharpie or two, a two mechanical pencils), her head phones and iPod lay aside next to a bag of Chex mix and two or three empty coffee cups from the University’s cafeteria. Her cell phone which was to her right and at the moment she was nursing a soda from lunch.

The computer lab was empty at the moment. She had already spent the morning  rescuing several of her co-workers work and research from a system overload and luckily, thanks to her finding out the problem, they were able to save everything they had. Hailey was just checking her email and twirling a short strand of blue hair around her finger as she concentrated on multitasking.

Yep, just another lazy Wednesday afternoon.

Current Home: Pasadena California. She was born in Seattle, Washington and moved to San Diego, California when she was 15 years old. She moved to Pasadena when was she was 25 years old.

Looks Like: Natural hair color is Harvest brown. Is dyed a sky-electrical blue. Hazel-Green eyes. Hair is straight and short, above the shoulder. Her usual clothing is a collard shirt (sleeves rolled up above the elbow), a v-neck t-shirt, jeans, green converse sneakers and a black neck tie. On her left wrist: a star trek wrist band. On her right wrist: a snoopy watch.

Tattoos: 3 chess pieces. One on the back of her left shoulder. One on her right arm and one on her inner left leg.

Job: Works at Cal Tech University in the Research Lab & is the University’s tech geek and computer enthusiast.

Relationship Status: in a relationship w/ Barry Kripke, who works in the Plasma Physics department at the University.
